Be like Jurgen! (Softride for sale)

Have you always wanted to try out a Softride, but didn’t want to “experiment” with a $2000-5000 Rocket TT? I have a size small 700c Softride Century, which as far as I can tell was re-badged into the “Solo” model that now retails for around $1100USD new (frame/fork).

This has the “classic” (carbon) beam, and the same “Powercurve” frame made famous by Alex Stedia et al. According to the sizing chart on the Softride website (http://www.softride.com/bike/solo.asp), this frame spans the 49-51 range with a 9cm head tube.

Aside from the lower back and butt-saving uber-plush ride, Softrides have the unique advantage in that they’re more adjustable than just about any other bike out there. If you want to ride at 81 degrees, or 70degrees, all you have to do is slide the seat and raise/lower the boom.

This bike has been well taken care of and was never abused, but is not “mint” and has a few minor scratches, one or two chips in the paint, etc. It has RX-100 (8spd) components with Ultegra bar-end shifters and Profile Split Second AL aero bars (the kind with the flip-up armrests). No pedals.
