Excuse my ignorance here, but what does the SL stand for? I'm assuming it is an aluminum frame? Sorry, I'm not a Cervelo expert.

I always thought it stood for "SuperLight". maybe not???

What was your cost?

It did stand for "Super Light" owing partially to a very slightly lighter finish- the powder coat versus paint. I think the weight difference boiled down to a matter of grams so it was pretty inconsequential.

I truth it dosen't matter what Tom paid for it. Something is worth what someone else will pay for it. If I bought my P3SL frame for $10,000, should I expect someone else to pay me $900 for it? I am sure Tom paid less than someone not in the bike business would pay for it, but that doesn't change the value of the frame.

I read the review; it was good. In it, you mention that the head tube is 89mm. Do you know what the top tube length is? Either the virtual top tube dimension or the actual dimension (center to center). I currently ride a 54 Dual and I'd be interested to compare top tube lengths.

I would still be interested in the frame Tom if you still have it. Please let me know as I would like to upgrade my frame from my Dual (nothing wrong with it) to this. I would just like to get a bit nicer and more aero frameset.

There is a new 55cm p3sl on ebay for $1295

I need to find one with a 1" steerer and that is it. I need to get a 53 or a 54 cm frame which will be great but all I need is the frame. I have everything else spec'd to perfection.

You found a size 53? That would be exactly what I'm looking for. At 800 bucks that's quite a nice deal. Post a pic when it arrives and you build it up!
