There are descriptions of each any blemishes on the frame or parts in the flick.com portfolio. Functionally the bike and parts are excellent and the chips are in areas that are not visible (under the bb/under the downtube/ behind the front brake), I flew around with the bike a few times last year so I think that's where I got the chips from.
I've tried to photograph or mention any of the cosmetic issues with the bike and if you decide to buy it and are not satisfied then I'll take it back. Like I said I am only selling this bike because I bought a new bike.
I bought the bike new at the end of '05 and used through that winter 05/06 and then for half a dozen road races. I was deployed last season so the bike spent the better part of the year sitting in my house. I used it this past winter and then got a new bike. There are a few paint chips which are cosmetic but in areas that are hard to see (bottom of bb, under head-tube/top-tube junction, behind front brake). There are some scuffs on the shifters, and the bike was "crashed" in an early crit last year. It wasn't a crash with any impact to the bike, I slid on my side during a rainy crit and the rear left chain-stay got a scuff in the clear coat. I had my shop look at it, talked to a Blue rep, and it is a clear-coat cosmetic issue. Since then I have ridden in a few thousand miles.
Just to be clear, there is cassette/chain included, no seat pedals, or wheels. Everything else you need to ride is included (I've got some new matching fizik bar tape if you want it).
