** SOLD ** ERG DVDs For Computrainer - New/Unused
Quote | Reply
** SOLD **

For sale are the five ERG DVDs listed below. These are brand new, never used. All are standard definition.
A description of each is at the bottom of this posting, along with a pic. More pics, including close-ups of each disc are at the link below. Included with the discs are an insert that covers installation, getting started, system requirements, etc... A full manual is available at the ERG website. Buy all five and I'll include for free a sixth DVD, Ride to the Tour. I may have installed this one on my laptop (can't remember), so it likely won't install a second time, but never hurts to try.

These discs are used in conjunction with a Computrainer to ride virtually with the riders that participated in making the disc. Not only is there the video from the ride, but the ERG syncs in with and controls your CT to add/remove load as you go up, down and all around with the group. It literally uses the power file from the original rider. To accommodate users with varying levels of ability, you enter in your estimated FTP and it adjusts the load to match. If you overestimate your FTP and can't keep up with the group, you get dropped !! If this happens, lower the FTP a notch or two and get back in with the pack. Go to www.ergvideo.com for more info.

These run $45 each new, plus shipping. Will sell all five of these for $175/obo shipped. If after a week no one has stepped up to buy all five, I'll consider selling them individually.

  • Mallorca Tempo and Hills
  • Port de Pailheres
  • Hill Intervals
  • Criterium A1
  • Four Man TTT
I bought these with intentions of training like crazy on the Computrainer, but it just never happened. I've now sold my Computrainer, so no longer have a use for these.

PM me with any questions.

Mallorca Tempo and Hills

This is the premiere ErgVideo shot in Spain, because it simply has it all! An hour of Tempo with the West Quebec Wheelers, and two separate climbs of the San Salvador peak, made famous by Marcel Wust and other Euro pros as a great "test climb" for measuring fitness. In fact, you will see Rabobank Pro Robert Gesink come FLYING by along the way. After two climbs, you jam back to home base with Vince Caceres from the Cyclery, and John Large of cyclingadventure.com, where they do their best to drop you on the undulating roller coaster roads into Cala D'Or. If you buy only ONE ErgVideo from Mallorca this year, this should be it! Great for Tempo and hill training, as well as fast over-threshold work.

Port de Pailheres
The Port de Pailheres has featured in the Tour de France four times. It hasn't hosted a stage finish (yet!). It sets the selection for epic finishes and battles on Plateau de Beille and Ax 3 Domaines, and it's higher than both! Its eastern ascent is particularly twisty and beautiful with vast green meadows, and big unobstructed views of the Pyrenees. The riders from the Southwest Bike Academy, and the Cyclery, take you up this monster at a healthy clip. Watch out for the attacks in the final third, where the switchbacks are tightest and steepest. This is among our favorite climbs in the whole world, and we're really thrilled to show it to you.

Hill Intervals
The fluid stylings and experience of Glen Rendall and Jason Cheney of Ride with Rendall, inspire you on this massive session of hill-climb intervals. Filmed in Gatineau Park at it's lush greenest, we hit all the major climbs....repeatedly! Choose from 2 minute, 4.5 minute and 6-minute climbing efforts. Hill intervals are recommended in all athlete's training plans to get some "punch" when the course goes up. This ErgVideo makes training for climbing a pleasure. See our page on intervals sessions, for more info.

Criterium A1
Local A-level series on a 4-corner criterium course. Mixed category, but these races are staged for 1st-tier riders and top-level women. See Seenite Sports. Aggressive riding right from the start, and you avoid the crash before the sprint. This is great for race-training and for unstructured intervals work. With big efforts over threshold, you'll feel like you were just in a real bike race!

Four Man TTT
We think this is still one of the very best ErgVideos. Aw, gee, it's HARD too. Ride with Rendall, fields a powerhouse team, including multiple national and provincial champions. Filmed from two helmet cams at the Quebec TTT championships, you get a dual view of the action. The TTT is probably the hardest and fastest road event of all, and it's great over-under threshold work for roadies, tt specialists, and triathletes alike. The speed is incredible.
