After my sub-bar (expectation wise) vo2max test, I sent my dad (age 43) to get one, just to see if it's my fault or the genetics' fault.
He came back last week from 2 weeks of medical conventions in the US, so the most training he did was a bike with my on Saturday and a 1.5 hour run last week. His vo2max was 50 ml/kg/min (not too bad). 21% BF, 74 kg.
But! I told him to ask if they could combine it with a LT test, with the drawing blood. His LT was too at 91% of max HR, and he said it corresponds almost identically with the CO2/O2 exchange graph.
just updating whoever cares (probably no one)
