I have a "college" sweatshirt. Sometimes I wear it to work. It's good to be in a math dept where the dress code is merely "fully clothed." maybe she's born with it, maybe it's chlorine If you're injured and need some sympathy, PM me and I'm very happy to write back. disclaimer: PhD not MD
John Goodman, The Big Lebowski (but that's just my opinion)
John Goodman in Lebowski was absolutely incredible. As was John Turturro as The Jesus. He was probably the most impactful character in any movie, ever, to only speak what, one or two lines total?
I think the Coen brothers just do a phenomenal job of casting. John Goodman could just as easily make this list for Big Dan Teague and Turturro for Barton Fink. Hell, they even got Nick Gage a mention in this thread.
Absolutely. Javier Bartom in No Country for Old Men was another iconic character in a Coen bros movie.
You can thank Ellen Chenoweth for that; the Coens often trust her as their Casting Director
If you can find it, I recommend Casting By, a documentary that explores the role of Casting Director, especially Marion Dougherty
