Sorry to hear this.

Studied his stuff closely in grad school, and went to several talks of his (and his collaborator, Tversky) back in the day.

A great thinker.

When I started college I was an economics major but I just could not hack the math. Back then most economics was about math and macro. I shifted to Sociology and found it far more interesting. It has been good to see behavioral economist like Kahneman and Thaler get their credit. Life is not a math problem.
