I have been trying to find a comparison between whether the new black chainrings on the force axs and whether the current silver chainrings of red axs are the same in weight just different in color or is it physically heavier. I bought a 50/37 chainring set with 165mm crank arms.

My 50/37 black chainrings came in at 246.5g and the 165mm crank arms came in at 485g. Putting that in perspective, a red axs 50/37 chainring is supposed to be about 245g, so seems like the only difference between the two is color. I initially wanted to learn this for the sole purpose of wanting to buy the black rings with red crank arms just because I think the black ones look nicer, however now we know there is no difference between the two other than color.
