I'm glad you were able to race and had a good time!

I woke up on Sunday with the stomach flu. I spent two hours running to the bathroom and I wasn't sure I should even go to the race anymore...turned up on the start line with no food in my stomach and probably pretty dehydrated. I managed well for about 20km and then my body couldn't take it anymore. I did a sad shuffle to the finish line but it's OK. Given the circumstances that was definitely the best I could manage.
