Switch From Smart Bike to Smart Trainer?
Curious if anybody has had a smart bike (kickr bike, tacx bike, Stages sb20) and then went back to a regular trainer?
What factors affected your decision?

Wahoo Kickr user to Wahoo bike. Kept the Kickr but haven’t used it since.

Game changer the bike for many reasons.

I have a stages bike. I can get it dialed pretty close to my P2 but not exactly (I put some clip on aerobars on the sb20). I do wish I had a smart trainer to transition to in early spring to start really getting more aero bar time in.

I go back and forth. Kickr Bike most of the time, but when I need/want aero time, I throw my bike on my regular kickr. Best of both worlds, except moving the kickr bike off the rocker plate is a bit of a hassle.

I think the best of both is having the Wahoo KICKR ROLLR plus KICKR Bike. I have both and at the start of the season, while it's still cold outside, I do a good few rides on the ROLLR so I can get used to the Aero position and Triathlon bike. For everything else, KICKR Bike. I never have to take any bike apart. Works well for me.
