They do not even know the number of slots for Kona 24 for the upcoming late season races, they know nothing, it‘s frustrating…

I believe they are waiting for the conclusion of the 2023 races to review how those went, how the host cities/councils received the races and the support garnered for the local communities. Then they can work out the best way to squeeze even more athletes in and extract the maximum $$$ per slot.

The Ironman website says that it will be a rotation between Nice and Kona through to 2026. By that logic, the men's 2025 WC will be hosted in Nice.
