Which leads me to this question - Why aren't we allowed to modify are own helmets (as long as it fits inside the UCI "box") ?

Same Specialized TT5 (aka "sock helmet") we've seen for the past year (?) or so. It was pretty much designed for him so no wonder it fits him so well.

I think everyone is missing what is really new in that picture. Notice that he has what looks like a lumpy t-shirt around his waist under the skin suit. I am betting that it is a trip line to reduce the low pressure area behind his butt, rather than a base layer faux pas.
