Funny. My first race bike, a Cannondale R500, "came" with a state-of-the-art sewing machine.
And 30+ years later, the remodeled kitchen came with Pinarello Dogma 10 with full Sram Red electronics components.
Who says marriage isn't wonderful?

My wife quilts and only has 4:machines.
I say I just want to get a bike for half of one of her machines.
She gets indignant and says I can't spend that much on a bike, longarms are expensive.

It's not new ... it's actually quite old
Everything it's made of was formed in multiple supernovas over millions of years and billions of miles, just to find themselves all assembled in our garage in this moment

always buy bikes of the same color. If your wife does not ride, she'll never know the difference between a Giant, Trek, Cervelo... all my wife sees is a white frame with two wheels, nothing to see here.
Great things never come from comfort zones.

Otherwise it's "You got another silver bike? Don't you already have one of those?".
