My former massage clinic had a beautiful tapestry with this saying on it. Except they missed the colon after water and it drove me nuts. If I’d ever had a sharpie on me I would have fixed it.

Same in my household. I heard it so much that any time someone says something isn’t fair I have to stop myself from automatically responding that life isn’t fair.

I do find it strange that otherwise intelligent adults think the world owes them or that they don’t “deserve” bad things. I think having life isn’t fair dinged into me at a young age made me a more well adjusted adult!

You’ll never hear me whine about something not being fair. To me that’s something children say.
