He's one of the funniest folks in tri. I absolutely love his race write ups that tell it like it is!

The interview is more serious, but he still displays the ability to talk about utterly banal and even mundane things in an interesting way. Good read.

Thank you for the interview, it's great to read news from Josh.
The first time I saw him race was at 70.3 Port Mac in 2013. I was so impressed at the time because he seemed to be taking it super easy with his parents on race morning and he crushed the race, probably one of his first pro wins. I was racing as well, we're the same age and I was so nervous!
I have been following his blog since then, I have seen him here and there at a few races and I'm a fan. I've heard from close triathlon friends who know him personnaly that he's a great guy, super laidback and generous.
All the best for 2022 Josh

Kind words, thank you.
Port Mac 2013 was one of those perfect races for me, it was my 2nd 70.3 win but my first win after a long season of grinding. Good memories! Would love to return in the future if we ever get another race there, it’s been a rough trot for the town! ☹️

Hi Josh - thanks for dropping by, and since you’re here, perhaps you could settle this once and for all:
How is the “g” spelt in your name - is it soft as j in jelly or hard as in g in hamburger?
I’ve heard it pronounced both ways (by native English speakers) so many times. I cannot sleep at night ;)

I absolutely love to see his swim time in every single race he does. He's always, if not most of the time, the fastest.

Was lucky to Meet in Xiamen a few years back. Super nice guy.
He is batting way out of his league with Ash.
