Big brush fire upcountry on the Big Island has forced the evacuation of a couple of communities, including the one - Waiki’i Ranch - that KonaCoffee moved to.
Now it appears to be headed downhill towards Waikoloa Village - it jumped the upper road:

Smoke is all over the place - we haven’t caught it yet in North Kohala (a couple of miles north of Kawaihae), but you can see it coming. Here’s the current view from the lanai:
Normally you’d be seeing the Hualalai volcano and the little bump at Kua Bay. It looks much worse at the northern part of the Queen K going south from the Mauna Kea resort.
