well, i think i might go for it this year. i live relatively close by and am finally back to semi-consistent training after several years in the wilderness. last summer my 'a' race was a ridiculous "xtreme" half ironman (3300m of climbing on the bike, self-supported, mountain run, etc) so in terms of aerobic plumbing i think i'm OK. but in terms of duathlon-specific fitness i'll want some work.
