Any thoughts on this no-name cassette (for a direct-mount trainer)?

Thanks. I would too. But $20 vs $60 makes me wonder.

If you need a cheap 11s cassette and 105 is too rich for your blood, then I'd go with Sunrace or Microshift. personally, I'd spend the extra $15 and get a 105 cassette though.

Sunrace and Microshift are both around $35 at Universal Cycles.

A couple of thoughts:

That cassette ships from China, and will take 4-8 weeks to arrive (look at the proj delivery range). Due to Covid, I'd expect the delivery to be at the long end of that range.

The Shimano cassette will have better ramps in the teeth and will shift a bit smoother. Depends if that matters to you.

Personally, I'd get a 105; shifts as well as DA, just heavier (which means nothing on a trainer).

I was a weight-weenie cassette guy at one point. I know we aren't talking weight-weenie here but the cassette is a very underrated piece of equipment and I didn't last long on a weight-weenie cassette. Seeing that you are only on a trainer you would probably be fine, and I would be curious to hear feedback down the road if you do purchase the mentioned cassette. However as others mentioned, looks like it would be a while to get a cassette from them. $48 for a 105 cassette via eBay is pretty status quo, otherwise there is a 6800 cassette, 11-23 via Amazon Warehouse returns for under $50 with prime shipping that you could have by Monday. You have to click on the New & Used section of listing to get to it.
