I did not see the date this was posted, but that killed my last race for the year. I have not raced a 10K/40K/5K in nearly 15 years and I think I am just going to do it anyway since that has been my training focus for a few months. Anyone in Southern California want to join me (and my son)? I have a couple of course options in mind:
1. Along the aqueduct up here in Victorville. It would be a closed course, but with a lot of tight 180 degree turns.
2. Set something up on the old Devil Dog Duathlon course at Camp Pendleton. Base access might be an issue, but I can probably bring a few guests.
3. The old Orange County Duathlon course in Lake Forest.
Open to suggestions from others. If even a handful of others want to get together I would set something up here or drive to other locations.
