A decision has been made to hold the July 12th (https://bit.ly/30Yo5hE) and July 26th (https://bit.ly/2YbUFLn) races as scheduled.
Please familiarize yourself with the following COVID-19 precautions prior to race day:
• On-site registration will not be available. Spaces are limited and event is expected to sell out.
• There will be no packet pick up. Bibs and swim caps will be mailed USPS prior to the race - please make sure your mailing address is complete and accurate. Participant t-shirts will be mailed post-race. Participants receive one t-shirt per series.
• There will be no awards ceremony held on-site post-race - awards will be mailed via USPS.
• Participants are required to bring their own, pre-filled water bottles. Water stations will not be set up on course.
• Bibs are required. Body marking will not be offered. Lost bib penalties will be enforced.
• Participants, staff, and volunteers permitted on-site only. Please, no spectators at this time.
• Bring equipment to complete onsite bike repairs on your own.

One of our local race companies that does a sprint series and one Olympic distance race starts this weekend 6/20. registration was limited and by the time I tried to sign up it was already sold out. Luckily, they have another race on 6/27 that I was able to enter. However, they haven't gotten permits for all of their races. It's still up to each municipality to issue a permit.

FYI I'm in Indiana and this all looks good for Muncie 70.3 on July 11th.
