i've heard of a few. folks i know. shop owners. i'd like to know what you know. if YOU are a victim, or if you KNOW of someone who's a target or victim.

On the Paceline forums Chris Kvale was reported to have his custom frame building shop burnt down (along with his apartment he stayed in too). Someone on paceliene posted an email from the man himself providing an update here: https://forums.thepaceline.net/showthread.php?t=252844

Note he is/was near where it all started.

Paradise Garage bicycle shop in Columbus, OH -https://www.facebook.com/...ts/10163686043880394

This shop is located near downtown on one of the main commercial streets in the city. That is their experience with the local PD, not mine. I certainly believe there is racism and injustice in our community and nation and law enforcement officers who abuse their power, but I also greatly appreciate the often hazardous and thankless work of law enforcement officers across the country. We certainly wouldn't be racing in the streets without their assistance.

BikeTech Miami

Surveillance video captured looters backing a truck into a Bike Tech store in Midtown Miami. Once the vehicle broke the glass, five people broke into the business.

The looters grabbed between 15 and 20 bicycles valued at roughly $100,000.

As they were grabbing the bikes, the truck could be seen backing up into the business again.

“They had no regard. They didn’t care,” said store owner Joyce Freire. “I’m not mad at the protesters at all. I’m mad at the other ones, the other ones who take advantage.”

Not here because every tri shop went out of business years ago. :( We used to have four. Speedy Reedy, Triumph, Challenge Multisport, and Mr Crampys. Plus several bike shops used to carry tri kit. Greggs did so did SVB/Element - they no longer do. Nearest tri shop NWTB is now way out there in Kent. Really almost Covington.
