anyone have any inputs on these. Looks like a variant of New Balance Minimus trail and can make for a good treadmill shoe or general walk around shoe. How firm is the sole (is it hard as a rock)

Just looking at the pictures, the sole construction in particular makes me think they are more of an around town shoe than a running shoe. Good looking shoe for a good price. But I have no experience with them.
