They're real and serious business it seems, carbon spokes and all. The 65 tubeless set weighs 1425g which is mighty impressive for that depth. The global website also says a set will run you $3400

I use a set of Giant SLR Zero Aero 55mm wheels for 5 years now.
Light, efficient, aero, durable, and very good price. Serious, yes !

Love it! Not just because I ride a Giant but because I love this guy's story. You should hear his interview with Triathlon Taren. The kid is very genuine and hard working. He is also a very fun interview to listen to. I think he will be good for the sport. He definitely wants to make the Olympics while at the same time keeping in touch with longer distances. The Giant Propel is an awesome bike and will serve him well. The Trinity is as fast as any other super bike put there and he should do well in it.
My first bike was a Giant Defy and that's what I used for my first Ironman many years ago. I now own a 2019 Trinity Advanced Pro 1 and I am loving it. My guess is that Giant will be coming out with a disc brake version of the Trinity soon.

Very cool that he finally picked up a sponsor. I think this will be a good pickup for Giant. He’s well liked and has good personality. Willing to race multiple formats (ITU, Super League, Ironman 70.3), and does well in all three. And he’s very young and has lots of upside/career left.

I think the results he pulls out are likely to be *slightly* more important than the fact he posts pretty good advice/interesting stuff on the forum. But you're right, it is a nice bonus!
