No idea but interested to know if it was. Wife and I are planning on racing there next year so trying to follow it.

Swim was full length. The gods of the ocean currents were with us yesterday. Current assist from start to finish. Beautiful swim and incredibly fast.
Unfortunately I believe an athlete died during the first 500m. Young guy from Brazil I believe. Condolences to his family.

I read about the death, terrible, you never want to hear that. From a few race reports I've read it sounds like it was a really good day otherwise, I'll keep my fingers crossed for the same in 2020.
