Agreed. I there should be basic training plans included in a “training bible”. I enjoy reading about triathlon and will use this book as a reference tool. However I won’t suck the enjoyment out of it trying to create a training plan from a set complex variables either.

Maybe it is that what other posters call here "overcomplicated".
But again: that was my impression, it is for others probably a very useful book.
