What version are you on?

I returned my first 945 because of the battery. I'd go through >40% of the battery a day with a 30-60 min workout.

Not sure....How would I know?

Had that happen to my first 935...worked great for a year, then the battery would be dead over the course of a 10k. It was a couple months out of warranty, but Garmin was good enough to send a couple replacements (first one they sent was a refurb, with a bad display...the second one was brand new, in the box).

Hold up button until menu comes up
hit up button once again
Select settings
hit up button once to get to "about"
select "about"

Edit: Or you could upload a workout and look at the version number in garmin connect on the right hand side under the device used

Try a hard reset - press and hold top left until it powers off (hold through the assistance alert). Once off, restart.
