Xterra sleeveless vs Desoto Speed Vest?
I'd like to have a low cost sleeveless suit for swims that are borderline wetsuit legal. I love my Desoto T1, but it gets pretty damn hot in the higher temp swims.

Any reason to think either of these options would fit better than the other, let less water in around the arms? A speed vest is roughly 200 US I think.

I can get a low end Xterra Volt sleeveless on sale for about 110 US shipped...

Thx!

I've used both, the Xterra sleeveless is simpler but both work equally well (when I used the DeSoto a few years ago).

I love my DS Speed Vest for warmer swims....Speed Tubes too.
Also, I live in SoCal and swim/exercise in an outdoor pool in winter and the SV take the edge off the chilly workouts.

I've got both of these and the speedvest is the way to go.
