ENVE 7.8 Setup tubeless vs Latex
Without getting into a political debate which is actually faster/lighter overall setup? (Exact same wheelset).

Is 10ml of liquid heavier than a latex tube or is rolling resistant that much better between the two?

Thank you

They are both equally as fast assuming the same tire.

10ml of sealant weighs roughly 10 grams. The lightest latex tube is 50 grams.

BTW, 30-35 ml of sealant is recommended per tire.

also, depending on the tire, the tubeless version weighs more. GP 5000 (tubed version) is about 215g vs 300g for the TL + sealant (tubeless version). Basically the weight of a standard road tube.

Oh wow so it’s actually A LOT lighter to run latex.

Does rolling resistance justify running Tubeless (marketing gimmicks aside)?

However, most tubeless "ready" version or TLR weighs the same as the standard tubed version.

?What exactly are you talking about? Because I haven't seen a tubeless anything tire that weighs the same as its tubed counterpart.
