What is my TT Bike Size?
I have been riding the same custom-made TT bike for many years. I am about to inquire about renting a TT bike for this year's ITU Worlds race in Switzerland instead of the hassle of transporting my bike and playing "where's my bike" for the latter vacation part of the trip.

My original custom-made receipt says "aero frameset 52 ST X 53 TT."

When I measure from the center of the bottom bracket to the center of the top of the seat tube, I get 54.9 cm.

So the questions:

1. what does 52 ST X 53 TT mean?

2. why do I measure almost 54.9 cm when I expect 53 cm?

3. what size TT bike should I rent?

Ever since John Cobb adjusted my fit I haven't paid any attention to it as I have been comfortable and satisfied competitively.

If you can tell me how to get the fit numbers, I'll do it.
