Two Days in Girona — advice?
Hey all, I’m lucky enough to have two days to ride in Girona. Already rented a bike from Service Course and looking to get after it. Route recommendations appreciated!

The folks at the Service Course are awesome. They will give you a GPS with local rides programmed in. I suggest you start every day at La Fabrica - the best coffee and breakfast in town (also owned by Christian Meier).

El Angels is a must - but it isn't very long (though I guess that depends on your perspective). It is easy to include it in a bigger outing. I suggest you ride to the coast - take your time and stop along the beach for lunch - and then go over El Angles on the way home. My Strava file says we rode118km with 1660m of climbing. A good day.

If I had two days - I would go to the coast and climb El Angels on day one. The next day I would do the St Marti Sacalm loop to the northeast of Girona. It is beautiful riding through the fields and mountain valleys. 92km and 1250m of climbing for that one (but that includes an extra out-and-back up a big hill). Lots of time for a beer in the square after you ride.

Girona is amazing - you will definitely want to go back.
