We do the AirBnB thing as well. We bought an old house and turned the basement in to a suite. It pays half the mortgage.

It's a bit of a pain... but well worth it when you look at the numbers. Eventually we will buy a second home and keep this one as an upper/lower rental. I guess that counts as a side hustle?
