I watched the replays of the knockdowns. I don't think I've ever seen a champion less interested in defending his title.
He wasn't embarrassed by Ruiz. He humiliated himself. I don't know how you come back from that.

I think observers said he took one to the top of the head in the third and simply never recovered.
