Yeah, but in college it's different. In college cheer leading is competitive, so they use the guys to lift, throw, and catch the cheerleaders. So they're often big jacked-up guys. I bet a lot of those guys end up with the cheerleaders. But I digress.

Yeah, not sure what the point of NFL cheerleaders is. No one is within 100 yards of them in the stadium and the networks avoid showing them too much.

No, the true sign of the apocalypse and the NFL would be if ever again the Steelers suit up a cheerleading outfit. They learned their lesson and disbanded the cheer squad in the not politically correct 60's. The apocalypse will be when you spot cheerleaders on the Pittsburgh sideline. This male thing in Seattle is just left coast PC.
