Father of Playlists dies in LA
an obit about the founder of Rhino Records

I had a long stint of making workout playlists off Limewire (way back, Apple has since scrubbed those off my library) and other sources, more legit.

that's pretty much tapped out and I haven't found a good new source. Does anyone still listen to playlists? Where do you find them? Anything good on Spotify?

Amazon has dozens of playlists. I am using one of their workout playlists right now.

Spotify is OK

Their "Discover Weekly" and "Daily Mix" playlists are highly algorithmic. I haven't really poked around into the more "curated" ones

I have a prime membership and had no idea these existed.

Do you stream off your gym's wifi? And that works?

Yes. And you can make your own playlists from all the songs on Prime.

would recommend creating your own playlists as the stock ones are very repetitive.
