Sri Lanka bombing - who is behind it?
The Sri Lankan gov't blames a local jihadist group (National Thowheed Jamath). Seven coordinated attacks with high explosives seems like a big departure in standard MO up for a group that was mostly known for vandalizing Buddhist temples.

If related news - Danish billionaire Anders Povlsen lost 3 of his 4 teen kids in the bombing. They were in church for Easter services.

Sri Lanka has all the potential to develop a sectarian hate-triangle.
The Tamils in the north want to separate and were (are) not averse to bombing.
The majority population is Buddhist - and therefore peaceful in principle, though recent years have seen the rise of militant Buddhism in other places (i.e. Burma).
And then there are the Muslims. Sri Lanka small Islamic minority should not be a factor but Islamic terrorism is almost cliche now.

All we need to do is add some angry Hindu mobs, import 'Real IRA' soldiers from Belfast, and sprinkle some random cultists for good measure and you have God's plan in action.
