China's 'Social Credit' System Working Exactly as Planned

China bans 23m from buying travel tickets as part of ‘social credit’ system: People accused of social offences blocked from booking flights and train journeys.

Looks like it's doing exactly what it's supposed to be doing, which is act as a precision starvation system. How so? Well, when the inevitable food shortfalls occur (and it's a communist country, so there will always be food shortages here and there), the goons in the ruling communist party that runs the country will determine who gets to eat and who doesn't. Think of it as the high-tech version of the standard socialist playbook, such as what's currently being played out in Venezuela.

Also, keep in mind that China's social credit system was implemented with the aid and assistance of a myriad of Western companies and academics, who ceaselessly prattle on about how moral and enlightened they are, especially compared to all us retrograde hicks out here in flyover country.

"Politics is just show business for ugly people."
