So much fun, and I didn't even race. What a great event.
Next year the goal is 700 racers. Shannon has already booked all the cabins and rooms in the park. + Mr Potts has confirmed that he will be racing.

I just hope they didn't make the courses too hard and scare people away. I know I for one am not going back unless I can improve my fitness significantly.

The storm that rolled through at 3am washed stuff in the road. Have to double number of sags as well.
According to Shannon, the park will be re-paved before the race next year.

My friends and I thought the new Olympic bike course was harder than the old courses. Would you guys agree? Will this be the same course next year? What happened to Matt Russell? He wasn't at Sundays race. This weekend was brutal but we had a blast. Next time I'm bringing my road bike.

Matt had a scratchy throat on Saturday. He got up Sunday and had lost his voice. He pulled himself from the race so it wouldn't affect the rest of his season. He did come down to the finish for the winners.
Talked to him yesterday and he's feeling better. They said they had a ball at the event and raved about how different the event is.
