Change: Iraq Declares Christmas a National Holiday "On the Occasion of the Birth of Jesus Christ"
Pretty good for a majority Shiite Islam country, huh?

"The Iraqi government has declared Christmas Day a national holiday across the country "on the occasion of the birth of Jesus Christ."

December 25 will now be a holiday for residents of the predominantly Muslim country, not just the Christians as it had been for decades.

The government said in a tweet Tuesday:"

"We extend our warmest wishes to Christians in Iraq and around the world for a very happy and peaceful Christmas."

That puts one squarely up Iran's tailpipe, as well, sending a signal to the other major Shiite Muslim country in the region that Iraq isn't looking to be a vassal state of those Persian rug merchants

"Politics is just show business for ugly people."

You do know that Jesus is a revered prophet of Islam, don't you? That is true throughout the Muslim world.

Islam corrects the error of christianity of treating a man as a god, because there is only one god - Allah.
