Kyler Murray from OK.

I thought Tua had it wrapped up a while back.

Impressive stats from both.

I think Tua did have it wrapped up but he struggled against UGA and Kyler heated up big time toward the end of the season. I think the media and people got tired of Tua mid-season and needed a new knight in shining armor. Kyler became the it story. I don't think anyone has any hang up over the decision. The two of them had outstanding seasons.

Tua . . . struggled against UGA

Tua sucked against Georgia. 10 for 25, 2 int., 1 TD, 164 yds. Totally outclassed by Georgia's Jake Fromm.

Maybe that is a bit unfair as watching on TV the defensive coverage is not shown. Could have been a great job by the defense. Long before he was injured, I was thinking they needed to bring Hurts in -- who with his running ability could cause problems for a defense that hadn't had to cover a running QB.

In any event, not a good showing in final game before Heisman award. Further, considering that some criticize the strength of Alabama schedule prior to Georgia game, prior great performances are a bit suspect now.

You mean 14 and 15 year old boys are offensive? No one could have known.

I'm beginning to think that we are much more fucked than I thought.
