If you need a time to reflect on absolute bravery and heroism - then please watch Medal of Honor on Netflix - as a retired military chap, I am in awe of the actions of some very humble individuals. The commentary between each action segment, so far, has been poignant and extremely thoughtful.

Hijacking this to promote Homecoming on Amazon, another military themed show. It's a really compelling fictional drama about a company doing unethical research into PTSD. But the larger theme hit home about the human cost of war that's hidden from most of us. Easily the best Julia Roberts has ever been, in my memory. It's a "different" mystery-drama. But very compelling, and very good.

Yeah, watched the episode on Clint Romesha the other night, thought it was well done. Made me want to go back and reread "Red Platoon," the book Romesha wrote about the fight at COP Keating.
