Help with seat geometry
I got a great bike fit on my tri bike, earlier in the year. It included dropping me from 172.5mm to 165mm cranks. My geometry question now is, I want to put my old tri bike on my trainer for the off season, but it still has 172.5 cranks. My brain says I should change the seat height to match my fit height, minus 7.5mm, but what then do I do about fore/aft seat position? I have the same saddle on both bikes.

It's going on a trainer, so the cockpit dimensions are meaningless to me, since I'm just laying on the aero bars, not caring about wind resistance or looking forward...except for looking at the TV running Zwift. Plus the whole front end gets covered in a towel because I sweat a lot!

I'm closer to the feathered end of the spear than the point.

buy some cheap 165 mm cranks they can be had quite reasonably - I believe someone on here is selling some.
