This has an alloy braking surface with a bonded carbon fairing. It has been a solid wheel for the past year and a half, but I'm switching things up on my Shiv, and don't need it anymore.

full disclosure: The front wheel from this set died as a casualty in an encounter with a crack across the road that I didn't realize had been getting bigger, and I hit too hard. I don't blame the wheel or the rim. The rear was fine afterward.

I'll ship it with the 23c Seca RS tire mounted and deflated to give it a little extra protection enroute. The tire is fine for training, but nothing special.
