+1 - I play sports dominant left while writing and holding a fork with my right hand.

My mother told me I was born left-handed, but she didn't want me to be a lefty, so trained me to be a righty. To this day, I sometimes get confused between left and right and can use either hand in some situations.

What if I was born left-handed but identify as right-handed?

I would check the little of both box, if there were one. I do a lot of sports left handed, but write and throw right. But when I eat, I pick up the side that is least intrusive to me, someone sits on my right, I eat left handed...

One of three of my kids is full lefty, gonna let him do it his way. But I will have him work his right sometimes, switch hitters are much more prized in the major leagues... (-;

Can you write as well with either hand? Throw a baseball equally well left or right? Then you are ambidextrous. Very rare. I didn’t offer that option because too many or you would say you are than really are. I’m left handed but do several things right handed. I am not ambidextrous.

Same, I use both on many things and some I use my left and others my right! I feel so left out!

I'm pretty sure I was born left handed but was "pushed" into being a rightie.

• Extremely left eye dominant
• Shoot shoulder weapons left handed
• Ambidextrous - switch hitter in baseball, easy transition to lacrosse
• Play guitar left handed

That stated, still very weak handed with the left when it comes to writing or shooting handguns but that's probably forced to be a rightie when I was a kid.
