1x setup with satellite shifters

Who's running 1x setup and using the satellite shifters to shift from the bullhorns?

I'm trying to figure out a few things to which I can't yet decide on.

1. Placement of the shifter on the basebar

2. How to wrap the bullhorns with the shifters there

3. Are you using bar tape or something else?!

What are you using or any other insights would be truly appreciated!
