anyone have opinions on this?
Example: I did 12 x 75's as fast as possible today. Swimming them at :51, interval was 1:40 so I had time to do an easy 25 between each one. I have heard that neuro-muscular benefits are diminished by swimming slowly so does this mean NO active recovery 25s?
One other comment: in my experience it is significantly harder to swim a hard sets in scm than scy. I almost have to swim a set of 50's in SCM as I would a set of 75s in yards from a pacing standpoint.
