Roadie needs help with running
Hi my name is redturbo and I'm a roadie. I'm doing nearly 8,000 miles a year. I started running this fall to cross train. About 30 minutes into a run my feet start getting numb/falling a sleep. I can run through it and it gets better but doesn't go away. I sized up shoes and am still having the numbness. Any ideas?

thanks turbo

Bike shoes work best for me when pretty tight, if you try to get that same "feel" out of your running shoes you may be tying them too tight causing the issues you are encountering. I know it sounds pretty silly, but you never know. I've been running for years and still sometimes find myself stopping mid run to adjust the tightness of my shoes.
