Im looking into heat rate monitors to try to get the most out of my trianing time, dont know much about them. Any good one out there to try? the timex body link seems preety high speed,anybody out there use it? thanks for any input, im new at this multisport/tri stuff and need lots of info.

I have one and really like it for running. It shows your pace and distance really accurately.
I won't be wearing it to race because you can't swim with it and I don't want to take the time to put it on in T1.
I also find it easier to look at my bike computer so I use a polar on the bike, and the timex only for running.

Best bet would be to use the search function of the forum. The Timex bodylink system and all of Polar HRMs have been compared, contrasted, and discussed in excrusiating detail in the last month or so.
