Take Triathlete Academic/Market Study

Slowtwitchers,

I am researching the motivations of triathletes as well as the running gear market for my senior project in college. The results will be released publicly at the end of the project. Please consider taking this Survey. This survey is completely anonymous!

I hope other people take your survey. Glad you're thinking about the sport and working on it in class.

Good luck!

Responded too, good luck!

Though, there was one question that I found hard to answer --
I have a power meter and use it in training/racing but don't have a coach currently. On the question for "how do you use the data from the power meter", none of the options really applied for me. I hit "My coach uses it", but really, I use it to compare progress/regression in my own performance over time.

Motivations are tied to owning a power meter? There seems to be a disconnect.

I responded but took offense to the instructions to "think deeply". It was if you discount my answers if they came to me quickly.

Pink? Maybe. Maybe not. You decide.

Same - I guess I would call myself my coach.

+1 I taking time out of my day to answer a survey for a total stranger. If I wasn't going to think deeply and provide thoughtful answers, I wouldn't bother taking the survey.

Responded. The question about coaching didn't quite fit my category. I use an online trainer program - it's not really a coach, but a pre-packaged, non-unique plan. Under $100/mo.
