I've got a set of Chinese race wheels from a fairly reputable supplier. I've had them for two years. My wheels squeak really badly when I'm on the brakes. I'm assuming dirty brake tracks and/or the need to toe the brakes in. Am I missing anything?

Are the brake pads the same age?
Your pads could be glazed and may just need a light sanding to freshen up the surface.

Cleaning wheels' brake tracks is also advisable.
Or simply it is a time to get yourself new brake pads.

What's the best method for cleaning carbon brake tracks? Is there a test to determine wear on brake pads? Similar to the old dime in a tire trick.
