If I'm wearing a vanquish to a race and plan to have the visor up for a portion of the race, where would I put the helmet sticker? Would the visor not block the sticker? Or does it not matter

Your helmet sticker is largely there so they can identify you in races photos. So it’s not something I’d sweat too much.

Can you see thru the visor when it's down? If yes, then the sticker will probably be visible when it's up.
